Christ in Sport Ireland aims to reach the world of Irish sport for Christ. We mainly work with sportspeople in competitive and elite sports, as well as young sports players.

Three things are at the heart of Christ in Sport Ireland – Sport, Christ, and The Local Church.

Sport

We’re passionate about sports and helping others know the joy of using their sporting gifts and passions to glorify God and do good to others. Sport is a good gift from God, which we want to celebrate, and give thanks for, and enjoy in a wholesome way.

Christ

We’re passionate about Jesus Christ. Knowing, loving, serving, and sharing him with others, and learning how to honour him on and off the pitch. We believe he is the best news in the world and we want everyone to know about him.

The Local Church

We believe the local church is God’s primary and ongoing way of seeing new people come to know Jesus, and those that know Jesus to grow in their faith and are equipped to serve others. We want to partner with local churches in Ireland to ‘reach the world of Irish sport for Christ.
